I didn't see the flour I would omit it. Wow, this brings back memories of family Christmas parties. I've been looking for a Kugela recipe, now that Aunt Pat has passed, and finally found a very good one. Very easy to make, but the I thought this was good. But it was a bit too bland for me without adding garlic salt. I think maybe some cheese if I make it again. I'm not Lithuanian and never tasted Kugela before. I had a lot of potatoes and not a lot else, so a search lead me to this recipe. Grating the potatoes and onion was kind of a pain.
The end r A little plain, but otherwise tasty, and good to reheat.

Have you already heard about Lithuanian cepelinai? Put on an apron and get behind the oven, stove or fire yourself — this is a great opportunity to learn something that you would never find in your own country. Treating a guest is an old Lithuanian tradition. And we adhere to it with sincerity. There are five regions in Lithuania, within which the people cook traditional dishes that differ in character and content Each of the regions has its own special ingredients. The manor houses of the Lithuanian nobility used to be famous for their hospitality.
The owners even competed with each other to see who could get the better chef from France or Italy. Legend has it that for a true nobleman, dying at the table was an honourable way to go.
